John R. Seitz, CEO — Mr. Seitz is a high-energy entrepreneur and leader with the proven ability to develop and grow a business, specifically within the healthcare industry. Mr. Seitz’s skills include strategic planning, effective communication, problem solving and the ability to motivate people. Read more...For over twenty-five years, Mr. Seitz has been engaged within the healthcare industry, earning the respect of physicians and industry executives. Mr. Seitz currently oversees business development and operational and financial management of ambulatory surgical centers and central business office services. Mr. Seitz is widely recognized in the ASC industry as a developer and manager of denovo ASC projects. He has been a presenter at numerous conferences including MWE ASC conference and the ASC 100. Mr. Seitz has an extensive network of contacts in the industry. Prior to Ambulatory Surgical Group, Mr. Seitz has been a founder and either the CEO or President of three successful start-up companies in the healthcare industry. Most recently, Mr. Seitz was one of the founders and President of Surgem, LLC and was responsible for building the company from start-up to success ($0 in revenue to a current run-rate in excess of $50M consolidated) in less than three years. During his time at Surgem, Mr. Seitz recruited the management team, directed the development and operation of 8 ASC projects from planning through syndication to operations and was responsible for the acquisition and turn-around of one “underperforming center.” Prior to Surgem, Mr. Seitz was founder and CEO of Cornerstone Physicians, a nationally recognized medical practice management company. Mellie Price, CTO — Mellie has over 15 years experience as a successful entrepreneur and senior executive in the information technology sector. She is the founder and Managing Partner of Source Spring, Source Spring Health, and Source Spring Fund. Read more...In 2003, Ms. Price founded Front Gate Solutions & Front Gate Tickets with the intent to develop software that made entertainment organizations operate and sell tickets more effectively. Front Gate services the music, arts, and sports industries and is currently one of the largest privately held primary market ticketing companies in North America. Prior to Front Gate Solutions, Ms. Price was a co-founder of Symbiot Security, leaders in risk metrics for adaptive network security. Mellie’s experience also includes serving as Senior Vice President with another successful Austin start-up, Human Code, a leading software and application developer that was sold to Sapient Corporation (NASDAQ: SAPE) in 2000. At Sapient, Mellie served as Vice President of Media, Entertainment, and Communications. She started her career as a designer, programmer, and system administrator when she founded Monsterbit in 1993. Monsterbit was one of the first commercial web development and web hosting companies in the nation. Mellie is a frequent guest speaker at industry conferences and a passionate instructor of anything to do with technology and entrepreneurship. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Front Gate Solutions, Animal Trustees of Austin, and the Austin Music Foundation. Mellie holds a B.S from the University of Texas at Austin.

Harwood Runner, Vice President — Strategy — Woody is a seasoned executive with significant interdisciplinary and industry experience that includes healthcare, technology, manufacturing and distribution, private equity, outsourcing and leveraged acquisitions. Woody led the initial funding of Sovereign Healthcare, a developer and operator of surgery centers and specialty surgery hospitals; is a principal of Cumberland Capital Corporation, a private equity investment firm that has directly or indirectly participated in transactions with aggregate values of more than $2 billion; and is a director of 820 Technologies, LLC, a leading provider of digital identification technologies for the financial services industry. His career began as a CPA at national accounting firm. He earned a degree in business administration from West Virginia University.
Jesse Jack, Vice President — Product Development — Jesse is an experienced technology development leader and is a principal in Source Spring, LLC. Read more...Among other career accomplishments, Jesse architected the software and infrastructure powering Front Gate Solutions’ ecommerce and ticketing platforms. Prior to joining Front Gate Solutions, Jesse led the development of several Monsterbit projects including Avenue One and the Earth & Sky Radio Series. Prior to Monsterbit, Jesse worked as a consultant for Digital Mercenaries to develop Holt, Rinehart and Winston’s HLLA companion website. He was a senior software architect for Human Code and Sapient from 1998-2001 and developed software products for ecommerce, learning technologies and video games for clients including the IC2 Institute, Leapfrog Enterprises, Albertsons and THQ. Prior to joining Austin-based Human Code, Jesse worked for web design firm Cymfony.net in Buffalo, NY, after graduating from Alfred University with a bachelor of fine arts degree.
